Saizen is a prescription medication used to treat growth hormone deficit (GHD) in the following conditions: 1- Low growth hormone production in children with growth failure.
2. Adults who developed GHD as children or adults.
Your body produces a protein called growth hormone, which is available as an injection called saizen.
Who should not take SAIZEN?
After the growth plates have closed, youngsters should not use saizen.
Children and adults with any of the following medical conditions shouldn’t use saizen because of the potential for major negative effects:
A severe respiratory issue, a catastrophic injury, or a critical sickness following surgery
individuals with Prader-Willi syndrome who are extremely overweight or who have a medical history of breathing issues, such as sleep apnea
malignancies or other growths
allergies to the hormone growth
Diabetes-related eye issues
